Hard but real words to swallow. Without actively engaging with the spirit, I become engrossed with my ways. What a battle! Won't be perfect this side of heaven, but ultimately in my relationship with the Lord, it's not about focusing on the dos and don'ts but on honoring and thinking about the heart of the One Who loves me and the One Whom I love. I find that singing in the spirit throughout the day helps me to guard my heart and know where to focus even when I fail. Every hour every moment, Lord, I want to be Your servant. I desire to be a blessing in Your eyes. May the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be pleasing to You, my God.
